The installation procedure for ductile iron pipe connection is:

Installation points:

①Clean the nozzle: remove and scrub all the sundries in the socket.

②Clean the apron and install the apron: wipe off the adhesive on the apron, bend the apron into a "plum blossom" or "8" shape and put it into the socket groove, and press it along the entire apron with your hands. Or use a rubber hammer to make sure that each part of the rubber ring is not warped or twisted, and is evenly stuck in the groove.

③Apply lubricant on the outer surface of the socket and the apron: apply the lubricant evenly on the inner surface of the installed apron of the socket, and when applying the lubricant on the outer surface of the socket, wipe all the socket parts other than the socket line Brush evenly.

④Lower pipe: The pipe should be lowered to the bottom of the tank according to the requirements of the pipe, usually by manual or mechanical lowering method.

⑤Installation of machinery and equipment: Install the prepared machinery and equipment in place, and be careful not to recontaminate the cleaned pipe parts during installation.
